... Fishing is about deception, so it has to engage the brain. It is an exercise in problem solving, where no two sets of circumstances are exactly the same, where success is an artful blend of drawing on experience and keeping an open mind...
Extreme angler and intrepid traveller Jeremy Wade rose to public prominence as the presenter of ITV's River Monsters - fishing in some of the world's most hostile and challenging waters in pursuit of the remarkable fish that lurk beneath the surface.
Since he started appearing on television, many people have asked Jeremy how they can improve their own fishing results. This book is his reply. Sparse on the details of technique, it’s more about the fundamental principles — a mindset for success. Part science, part art, and part elusive “something else”, this, he says, is something every angler can develop. Using examples from his own experience, he explains when to let instinct override logic, why less time can bring better results than more, which details are vital and which may be irrelevant — and why a “non-result” can be a result.
Due to a tight filming schedule, Jeremy's public appearances are very limited. We have been extremely lucky to have reeled him in. Book now so you don't miss this big fish!
Books will be available to buy on the night and Jeremy will be more than happy to sign them.
