Returns & Refunds

We offer a 30-day returns policy. If 30 days or more have elapsed since your purchase, unfortunately we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. It must also be in the original packaging where appropriate.

Items purchased in-store or online can be returned in person to any Winstone’s store, or by post to:

Please notify us by email in advance of any return you intend to post.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for any items you return.

Refunds

Once your return has been received (if sent by post), we will send you an email to confirm receipt of the item(s). We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If approved, your refund will be processed and a credit automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds

If you believe you have not received a refund for an approved return, please check your bank account. The transaction will appear under the name Winstone’s UK Ltd. If you still cannot see your refund, please contact your credit card company or bank (it may take some time before your refund shows as pending). If you have taken these steps and have still not received your refund, please contact us at winstonebooks1@gmail.com

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at winstonebooks1@gmail.co.uk detailing the damage or defect (attaching an image of the damage if possible) and send your item to: Winstone's Books, 8 Cheap Street, Sherborne, DT9 3PX

Once we receive the item, we will send you a replacement copy. The time it will take for your replacement to reach you may vary depending on where you live. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item and cannot be held accountable for items that have gone missing in delivery. Therefore, we encourage you to use a tracked service if possible. For items over £50 in value, we recommend you use a trackable guaranteed delivery service with additional insurance if necessary.
