Harriette has spent years building her online brand and identity as the perfect wife. She's a homemaker, a baker, and she never has a hair out of place. Everyone thinks Harriette has the dream life and the dream husband, but during a disastrous Christmas cookie live stream, Harriette's perfect marriage falls apart. Facing public humiliation, she retreats to the only place she can think of, her home town of Glasgow. Back in the Gorbals and sleeping on her loving but chaotic parents' lumpy mattress, Harriette is suddenly Harri again, with a horrible new haircut and fake Uggs. All she wants is to get her old life (and her husband) back, but with social media ablaze with rumours, the best thing for now is to hide. She can mope around, help out at the local community centre with her mum, and ignore her growing feelings for Jamie who works there.
