FROME EVENT | Geography of Heaven with Rory Maclean

Thursday 29th October, 7.30pm, The Archangel (Naval Room), Frome.

When travel-writer Rory Maclean's wife died in 2021, he could not imagine a life without her. So he set out to find her.

What unfolded was a journey with no blueprint, no set destination, and no fixed answers. A journey that was physical, spiritual, and one of gentle inquiry led by one simple universal question: 'where do we go when we are no longer here?'

Rory will be in conversation with Frome-based healer Jotipal Kaur, who was among Rory's first guides on the journey that later became his acclaimed book Geography of Heaven.

Books will be available to buy at the event and Rory will be very happy to sign them.

About the Venue
The event will take place in the Naval Room at The Archangel Hotel and Restaurant on King Street in Frome. Regrettably, the room is not fully accesible as it is on the first floor and only accessible by stairs. There is no onsite parking, but plenty of parking can be found in the nearby town centre public car parks which are all free to park in after 6pm. The bar is open all day, so do arrive early and enjoy a drink to support the venue.
